Since opening in 2019, our thriving Primary Phase has built a reputation for excellence, providing the very best possible start to every child’s education. Our purpose-built facilities provide a bright, inspiring and well-resourced environment where children can flourish, from our spacious classrooms to our dedicated outdoor learning areas that encourage curiosity, creativity and a love of learning.
Open Events
We would like to thank all families who joined us for our Open Evening and Open Morning Tours in November. These events provided an opportunity to explore our facilities, meet our dedicated staff and learn more about our vision for every child.

Secondary Phase Admissions (Year 7 – September 2026)
Thank you to all families who attended our Secondary Phase Open Events in October 2025. These events showcased our curriculum, facilities, and the vibrant life of Hailsham Academy as part of MARK Education Trust.
Although our Open Events have now finished, we welcome visits by appointment.

- 2 March 2026: Decisions sent by email
- 27 March 2026: Deadline for submitting appeals
- 12 June 2026: ‘On time’ appeals heard
Important:
For current Year 6 pupils at Hailsham Academy Primary Phase, no application is required. A Year 7 place will be automatically allocated as we are an all-through school.
Pre-School Admissions

In-Year Admissions
For students in Reception through Year 11 requiring a place during the school year:

- Or apply via ESCC School Admissions
Applications are considered by the Headteacher and reviewed by the Admissions Committee. You will receive a response within 15 school days.
All enquiries will be considered in line with the School Admissions Code 2021 and with reference to the academy’s oversubscription criteria.
