Although life definitely feels more ‘normal’ than it did at this time last year, we all need to remain vigilant around the Covid pandemic.

In college, we are continuing to follow our control measures such as practising good hygiene habits and ensuring all rooms are ventilated.  Please view our full Risk Assessment here.

Risk Assessment

Outside of college, we ask that students continue to test themselves twice a week with Lateral Flow Tests and log the results as per the kit instructions and also, log them with the college via this link: Smartlog V5 ( Testing kits are available for students to collect from the Dining Hall at lunchtimes.

In addition, we ask that parents/carers remain vigilant for the symptoms of Covid-19 and should your child display any of them, please keep them at home and get a PCR test done (the one that is sent to a lab). They should remain at home until you get the test result.

As a reminder, the main symptoms of Covid-19 are shown below and more information can be found on the NHS Coronavirus webpage.

• A high temperature

• A new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot, for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours
